Kent Blazy, multi number 1 hit songwriter for Garth Brooks, Chris Young, Patty Loveless and many others joined The Don's Hit List to discuss the goosebump moments in his new album "Me and My Guitar". We get into great discussions about iconic songwriters like Dan Fogelberg and Dan Seals. We also talk about a song that Don believes is a #1 song and pitches that Kenny Chesney MUST record this song. Hall of Fame Songwriter Kent Blazy (Garth Brooks, Chris Young, Patty Loveless, Diamond Rio) joined us for a second time and we went into several of his songs that led to his induction into the Hall Of Fame. He tells a great story of how and who made the call to tell him he was selected for the induction, great story about the song "Getting You Home" by Chris Young. The highlight of the night was a someone we found on YouTube (Brett Monnier )who covered Garth Brooks' "It's Midnight Cinderella" and "She's Gonna Make It" to join us on the call with Kent and it was an absolutely goosebump moment.

And the artist you co-wrote with becomes globally known as the greatest country entertainer in the last 30 years in Garth Brooks.
